Dr Aldene Doyle- Colvin Certified Wound Healing Specialists and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (Doctor in the field of Nursing)

Aldene Doyle-Colvin, DNP, RN, FNP-BC, WCC, EDS, has over 20 years of experience caring for patients with critical wounds in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her journey as a registered nurse began in Brooklyn, New York, after she graduated from New York City College of Technology (CUNY) in 2003. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Notre Dame of Maryland University in 2016 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2019 from Chamberlain University Addison, Illinois. Dr. Doyle-Colvin has practiced as a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the primary care setting 2019. She returned to Chamberlain University with a zeal to make a difference in her life, and in the life of her family. Armed with her dedication and her fierce tenacity, Dr. Doyle-Colvin accomplished her goal in 2023 and completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

Dr. Doyle-Colvin has vast experience in acute care and family practice; however, she developed a passion early in her career for providing outstanding care in healing of the largest organ in the human body to include ostomy management. Despite environmental challenges or problematic comorbidities, her innate passion for serving her patients contributes to positive patient outcomes. “Good, better, best…Dr, Doyle- Colvin allows those three words to resonate with her patients, as well as her coworkers. It is very important to her to always be a role model for her children, emphasizing that with hard work and dedication, there is nothing they cannot achieve. Dr. Doyle-Colvin strives to allow her “good” work ethic and skill set to become “better,” and her “better” then becomes her best.” This is her daily affirmation and mission as she provides exceptional, tailored care for her patients.

It is an honor to serve patients in the Southern Maryland area to include the DMV. Dr. Doyle-Colvin’s practice is now extended to the mobile and concierge patient population platform. Her service offers private, commercial as well as, Medicare covered care–including appropriate dressings, dressing changes, infection management, and beside procedures to include debridement in the comfort of the patient’s home.
